Living at Mac

At Wednesday’s lunch hour, the Maintenance staff of each of Mac Properties’ 28 buildings were collectively called in for a mandatory meeting at the Bellerive – no exceptions. Within ten minutes of “meeting” start, the maintenance crew arrived, and emerged from their vehicles – making their way methodically up the hill, one after another. Unaware, they were excited to find a catered meal, provided by, Cupini’s Restaurant, and orchestrated entirely by, Dana (Resident Services), Tori (Regional Manager), and, Garth Doering (Vice President). So started the surprise Maintenance Appreciation luncheon…

The festivities were a welcomed event for who it was intended – complete with lasagna, salad, bread, and the various accompanying accouterments, which would attend an Italian meal. The maintenance crew work diligently at ensuring the 28 buildings composing Mac Properties’ Kansas City portfolio stay in superlative shape, and that it’s residents find eased comforts in their homes on Armour, or Broadway. We wanted to show appreciation for their dedication and hard work, and the guys really appreciated the efforts that Dana, our lovely receptionist, put forth to make this happen.
Overall, we want to thank the Maintenance crew for all that they do. We know that they will not be perfect-most of the time due to factors out of their control – but each day, they do their best to keep it all together. A final thanks to Dana – the crew wanted to extend their thanks; “it was well designed, and the food was great!”
