Humans of Mac – KC – Molly
This week’s Humans of Mac comes to us courtesy of Molly, a resident from Bellerive, who travels all over for her work, and may or may not have an addiction to coffee. Be sure to check out her fun responses and apartment style(complete with coffee mugs and an awesome bike), and as always, reach out to us if you would like to be featured in this segment.
What is your name and how long have you been a resident at Mac?
“Molly Landon, and for two months.”
What do you like to do in your free time?
“I enjoy traveling, crafting, cooking/baking, singing, reading, running, and I have a blog.”
Describe yourself in three words.
“Joy-seeker, Jesus-lover, coffee-liker.”

What is your biggest strength? Weakness?
“Strength: Empathy.”
“Weakness: Probably coffee dependency.”
What do you enjoy most about your apartment or living situation?
“The entire place is so clean, historic-looking, yet fresh. I love that there are lots of windows to allow the sun to wake me up on the weekends when I’m not traveling for work.”
What do like most about Kansas City?
“I like the small yet big city feel. It’s not as big as NY, but it’s big enough to have a lot of different types of pockets –> downtown, the plaza, Zona Rosa, Brookside, Westport, etc. There is a lot to explore like museums, shopping, trails, parks, and beautiful houses!”
What are your life goals?
- “To be kind & courageous. That’s one of my favorite quotes; it’s from Cinderella.”
- “Run a full marathon. I just did my first, Rock the Parkway. It was one of the most rewarding moments of my life.”
Tell us something interesting about your job, hobbies, talents, personal life, or charity work.
“Interesting about my job? I travel 100% and am only home for 2 days a week. I love it!! I’ve been traveling non-stop for nine months and it’s still a thrill for me.”
What would you like to promote or share to the world?
“Smile. Hold doors open for people, go the extra mile, and be kind. One kind word or smile can turn around someone’s entire day!”
What would you like to say to someone looking to live in this area or in a Mac Property?
“Do it! They’re so pretty, clean, and have great amenities.”
