How long have you been a resident at Mac?

“I’ve been a resident for 2 months.”

What do you like to do in your free time?

 “Love spending time with family and friends, I also love writing lyrics and music.”

What do you enjoy most about living at Mac?

“I love being central to almost anywhere in KC. Also, employees of Mac seem to enjoy what they do and are very responsive to resident’s needs.”

Describe yourself in 3 words.

“Creative, hardcore, gentleman.”

What’s your biggest strength?

 “My biggest strength is loving people and knowing how to read what they’re feeling and what they need.”

What’s your biggest weakness?

“My biggest weakness is being shy, but I’m mostly over it…I’d rather sing in front of people than talk…”

Tell me about one of your favorite memories in Kansas City.

“Growing up in KC I had great memories with family, I also loved playing the Voodoo Lounge at Harrah’s Casino”.

What attracts you to KC?

 “I love the rich history in music and if you’ve been to other big cities, people are friendlier here.”

What are your life goals?

“Help make everyone I come into contact with better in some way, even if it’s just making them feel better through my music.”

Tell us something interesting about your job, personal life, or charity work.

“I’m a former Army officer.”

“My band (Benjamin Hyatt Band) just got signed for our second label, music video, manager and booking agent. We will be in the studio until October, then playing around KC. You can check our 1st album out at facebook.com/benhyattband“

It is a beautiful area, great people and so much stuff to do!”
