Humans of Mac-KC-Amy C.

Humans of Mac, Mac Properties
Our resident, Amy, enjoying the surprisingly nice December weather.

Humans of Mac is a fun way we get to highlight our amazing and interesting residents in our KC Apartments. Check out this interview we had with new resident, Amy C.

How long have you been a resident at Mac?

“I just moved in this month!”

What do you like to do in your free time?

“I am training for a marathon in April so I am running around KC.”

Describe yourself in three words.

“Happy, outgoing and passionate.”

What is your biggest strength? Weakness?

“My biggest strength is my ability to turn a negative into a positive. My biggest weakness, I am early for everything. Most of the time this serves me well, but sometimes I am sitting in my car 15 minutes early and thinking of other things I could be doing instead of waiting.”

What do you enjoy most about your apartment or living situation?

“I like that the apartment is nice and updated. I also like that I am able to have my cat.”

What do like most about Kansas City? Tell us your favorite story from KC.

“I just moved to Kansas City from Burlington, Vermont. My friend, also a Mac Apartment tenant, has welcomed me to Kansas City. My favorite moment thus far was having Thanksgiving dinner with her and her boyfriend’s family.”

What are your life goals?

“To create solutions to problems with food access, food sovereignty, and food security.”

Tell us something interesting about your job, hobbies, talents, personal life, or charity work.

“I am a commodity merchandiser at a grain elevator.”

What would you like to share to the world?

“Vote in the upcoming election!”

What would you like to say to someone looking to live in this area or in a Mac Property?

“Mac Apartments are in a great location, close to Martini Corner, Westport, and Downtown. The buildings are secure and apartment appliances are new.”

Thanks for being an awesome resident Amy and glad you like your place!
