Anthony Weatherington – Mac Employee

We had a chance to grab Anthony’s photos as well as get a few questions answered regarding his personal and professional life. Thank you for giving a look into your day-to-day Anthony, we appreciate you as a co-worker!

Where is your hometown?

Indianapolis, Indiana

What is your position at Mac and how long have you been an employee?

I have been a Leasing Agent here at Mac for 6 months so far.

What do you like to do in your free time?

In my free time, I spend time with family and friends, go out to different restaurants, and travel different places in the world.

Name two things you consider yourself to be good at?

I consider myself to be good at making people comfortable, even in high-stress situations. I am also very good at creating a great all around experience with anything that I do. I believe this is why people tend to find comfort in me.

What is your favorite Mac building and why?

My favorite building would have to be City Hyde Park. This building sets the bar high for Hyde Park. With its modern style, clean lines, and minimalistic characters it a great fit for virtually anyone.

Tell us something about you that someone would never guess?

I am a videographer and have done many projects including weddings and special events.  

What is one thing on your bucket list?

I would love to one day go skydiving even though I’d probably pass out in mid-air, it would be a fun experience. No, but seriously I’d love to at least visit every continent around the world. I’d also love to start my own business where I flip vintage homes and flip vintage commercial buildings.

How would you describe your day to day activities? Favorite job function?

My day-to-day activities are always rewarding. I help my prospective clients find a home that is either great for their family, pet, and/or even just themselves. My favorite part is helping someone who thought they could never get through the process and we end up finding them something they fall in love with.

What is your favorite memory of working at Mac?

My favorite memory so far at Mac would have to be our Annual Holiday Party. Attending that event it really showed me how a larger company can still be family oriented and very caring. Things like this is what makes Mac Properties a remarkable management company not to only work for but to live with. Having satisfied employees only makes the entire experience at Mac superb.

What would you like to promote or let residents/coworkers know? Share as many details as possible!

Mac has kept the integrity and history of Hyde Park alive and well. I am so happy to be part of a tremendous team who values their residents and employees. With over 90+ properties there are so many different styles that can fit anyone who is looking for a place to call home. Moving from Indianapolis to one of the biggest cities in the United States has been a journey but Mac Properties has made it so pleasant not only with a great career but also an amazing place to call home.
