Ken Cox – Mac Employee

We had the chance to interview one of our great Chicago employees and get to know him a little better. Ken has been a major asset to the Mac team and we are grateful to have him aboard.

What is your hometown?

I’m from here in Chicago.

What is your position at Mac and how long have you been an employee?

Technician and CHA inspection specialist. I’ve worked with Mac for a little under a year and a half.

Name two things you consider yourself to be good at and why?

Performing basic maintenance on residential properties because I have years of experience. Communicating with people to resolve issues because I have always worked in some type of hospitality field.

What is your favorite Mac building and why?

“The Shoreland” is my favorite because of its rich building history.

Tell us something about yourself that someone may not know.

I love gardening.

What is one thing on your bucket list?

To visit the Ancient Mayan ruins. It has always been an interest of mine.

How would describe your day to day activities? Favorite job function?

Challenging and very interesting. My favorite job function is inspecting units to insure they are of high quality.

What would you like to promote or let residents/coworkers know? Or favorite memory at Mac? Share as many details as possible! Non- religious and non-political comments are preferred.

I would like for people to know, from my experience, that Mac is one of the better property management companies and they provide services a lot of other companies will never try to provide. They are very successful in what they do.
